Production Assistant: Audio

Position Overview:
Anakan is currently seeking a Production Assistant: Audio
The Production Assistant will provide administrative and secretarial support/assistance to our Audio Manager in maintaining and facilitating the smooth operation of the audio department. He/she will also organize different aspects of timetables and negotiation with actors.
The optimal candidate is a highly organized strategic thinker and a proactive self-starter. This position is suitable for individuals who have one year previous experience in a similar role.

This position is part-time and in-house at the Anakan office in Berlin. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform successfully in this position.

Responsibilities:
- Organize various tasks associated with assisting the audio team with dubbing & voicing for videogames
- Manage all calendars scheduling for recording and appointments
- Populate and update contacts databases
- Creation and distribution of reports and schedules related to the audio department
- Processing invoices & tracking freelancer payments
- Answering phones and providing administrative support
- Booking artists and negotiating rates

Requirements:
- Demonstrate basic computer knowledge through effective use of a personal computer including Microsoft Office applications – especially Microsoft Excel
- Should be creative and have the ability to multi-task
- Very good negotiation skill
- Ability to work independently and trouble-shoot problems when they arise
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to liaise with various support groups
- German fluently with good English skills
- Planning skill
- Flexibility
- Experience in video game localization is a real plus
- Knowledge of the Berlin actor scene
